She wasn't unaware of someone coming closer to her, but for the first time in a long time, she wasn't actually wary about it. Most people in Madison, while super powered in some way, weren't actually likely to cause someone harm. It was just another sign that she was finally adjusting to the idea that she was relatively safe here. That she didn't need to be on guard 24/7.
"Of course," she replied amicably. "There's plenty of room." And chairs of varying distances away from her so he could choose wherever he felt most comfortable.
