"I...I'm much different than I was back home," she agreed. "All that mattered to me then was getting married. I didn't really have any other dreams or goals. There was nothing that really defined me...you know...who I really was."
She paused, looking down at her hands that were clasped in her lap.
"What if he doesn't like what I've made myself?" She paused. "What if what I've made myself will make me miserable when I go back home?"
