Lisa Snart & Brooke Maddox
“You’d think we were a cult with the way some people treat us, but nah,” Brooke replied while thinking. This was so not the place to go into that whole nightmare, especially when most weren’t always ready to believe it. She’d probably find the whole story weird along with it starting up again if it wasn’t for her living the whole nightmare. “The longer story is better suited for another place. Short version is my friends and I have that name after surviving a horrible incident back in my world. Six of us survived, the town is called Lakewood, and boom you got the Lakewood 6.” Brooke made a hand explosion at the word boom before shrugging slightly. If Lisa wanted the whole story at some point, Brooke would tell her, but if not, then she didn’t really blame her.
Brooke could really relate with Lisa on the whole hugging thing. It was fine for certain people, but Brooke wasn’t big on hugging people. She had much better things to do with her time than hugging people, especially when her luck she’d hug people who smelled or were hoping to feel her up. At Lisa saying about holding up banks, Brooke couldn’t stop as both her eyebrows raised. “Is holding up banks what you used to do?” Brooke wasn’t judging, but more shocked and mildly impressed by the whole thing. “As much as I wish I could take your advice, I know at some point I’ll need to get a job and I’ll hate it so much,” her voice almost had a whine to it at the hate because it was true. Then again maybe she’d find a job more to her liking and wouldn’t hate it as much. “I’m so going to come by at some point, I promise!” Brooke was never one to turn down shopping.
