"One of the first," he admitted, an almost sheepish expression on his face. It hadn't exactly been by choice. He'd been pretty good at being an angel, honestly. But he just had a lot of questions. Wasn't that important? Probably not for celestial beings, he supposed.
Sneering a bit, he gave her a pointed look over his dark glasses. "You think? This world is hilarious. Between the cynicism, the uncalled for hatred and bigotry, the pointless wars..." If he didn't laugh, he'd probably go on a rampage and end them all. But he had a ridiculously annoying soft spot for the humans. No wonder he pissed Satan off on the regular. "But they're also funny little things, mortals. Little idiosyncrasies and such that they cling to. It's rather adorable."
