Who: Washington and Tim Drake-Wayne What: Wash runs into Church's least favorite guy When: Sunday afternoon Where: Walmart Warnings: TBD Status: Closed/in progress
There were advantages to having a smart AI like Church around when you were dealing with things like Wash's injuries, even if he wouldn't let him into his implants which still made Church unhappy. He and Wash had no choice before but to work past all of their issues with Epsilon trying to kill himself in Wash's head when the AI got dumped there with no one but Wash to jump into and even though he never said anything to Wash directly he knew that the AI definitely wasn't okay with the ban.
But he still helped Wash with all of his electronics and lists. Sometimes he didn't even let Wash ask him before he was adding data to his phone and making sure he had on demand lists and upgraded search functions so even if he was asking for things using terminology from their time instead of now it would still find things for him.
Which was why Wash was following a map on his phone while shopping for the things they needed to cook with later. And when he got to where the item he needed was kept he had a picture pop up of what he was looking for.
And that was why he almost ran into Tim, he definitely was trying to find the thing on his phone with the picture instead of paying attention. Which was something really rare for someone as paranoid as Wash was.
And also why he wasn't allowed to leave the house with more than knives and they had to be where he couldn't stab someone without really working at it.
"Oh sorry....oh...you..." Damn it. He knew who he was, Church didn't like him, he had something to do with Charlie but the name wasn't coming to mind at all. Sometimes he thought it would be better if he forgot everything about a person instead of just chunks. But then he ran into people he forgot completely and he changed his mind. "Anyway, sorry."
