Who: Ned Leeds and Foggy Nelson When: Sunday Morning Where: Outside a coffee place What: A chance meeting and do you have a napkin? Status: Ongoing, closed.
Ned didn't normally drink coffee. In fact, what he ordered from the coffee place probably didn't count as coffee to most people since there was a lot of sugar and flavour shots. Basically, he had ordered something that didn't taste like coffee at all. Upon taking a sip, though, it was pretty good. He was just so tired that he felt like he needed caffeine to keep him up since he was pretty sure noon was not an acceptable hour to sleep for the rest of the night.
He paid for his coffee, placed the plastic sip-lid on the cardboard cup, and headed outside in the hopes that caffeine plus fresh morning air could give him a third wind or something. As he stepped out onto the sidewalk, someone in way more of a hurry than he was walked passed and bumped into him hard. Ned yelped, but what really sucked was his coffee was the casualty. The bump was hard enough to dislodge the plastic lid and the heated content splashed all over Ned's shirt. It hurt for a moment as the hot liquid touched and then it began to cool. Of course, Ned was left with a gigantic coffee stain on his light blue shirt now.
