He arched an eyebrow at Mia's words. "The doctor suffering from PTSD is a very good man, I'll have you know." Sherlock might be a little protective of John Watson, and he was fully aware of this. Watson was his closest friend. He would do a lot for the man.
He studied her for a brief moment, knowing they didn't have a lot of time together. Not that he was really upset about that fact. But he would have to make this quick, so he didn't allow himself to linger too much.
"You're smarter than you appear," he started. "But you seem to be the type who prefers to resort to being physically violent over using your intellect to solve anything. Perhaps your intellect intimidates you?" He studied her for another moment, before continuing. "You have likely been trained to fight, so you feel more comfortable in a physical confrontation over anything else." He nodded at this, and both options seemed likely.
