Mary Campbell & Frank Castle
"Yeah. I mean he was." Mary didn't know how to exactly refer to John now. He wasn't here and that made it hard for to consider them together still. They weren't married yet in her time either. She loved John, she knew that with every fiber of her being, but he wasn't he right now and he might never be here either. It was a hard thing to come to terms with.
Mary could see the wheels turning in his mind as he tried to make the dates match up. Mary knew from experience that it was something he would not be able to do. She was brought he from the seventies at the age of 19. She'd been here for a year or so, but she was still younger than Frank and her own child, Dean. She figured he'd eventually come to terms with the idea she'd just been pulled here without reason like himself.
"Ding Ding. We have a winner," Mary replied with a sad smile. "I'm from the seventies. I'm twenty so yeah I think you have a few years on me Frank, but I've only been here a year or so. For me, the Vietnam War was like yesterday and John was just as young as me pretty much."
