"It's actually pretty much exactly like it is here so it's been a relatively easy transition." Except for the not having his community thing, that had been really hard for Amaar at first. Praying alone on Fridays had never felt right and his congregation here was small but at least they were there. That was something. "The prairies are a lot colder in the winter, though. I think it has something to do with there being no mountains or anything to block the wind. I'm not really sure."
He hadn't really cared to learn about the reasons why.
