Well she'd gone from most of her boxes to a lot less and at first glance this guy was way too gay to be sitting across from her on a date. Maybe he just wasn't up to admitting it yet, it wouldn't be the first time she'd covered for someone. Whatever. It was five minutes and the shy thing was cute in that puppy sort of way. She'd save him the flaunting her sexuality at him thing for that at least.
"Lydia," she offered before cocking her head thoughtfully at his question. "It's been, oh, a couple of years. Four, I think. I stopped counting."
There'd been a point when it hadn't seemed worth it to keep track anymore, and so she didn't.
