"Oh, no, I wouldn't say you are boring," he said with a smile. "Work and reading are both very good ways to spend your time. I do like a woman who can read." He offered her another smile. "And an employed one at that. Makes things all the more better."
He truly didn't think Caitlin was boring. Or lame. He didn't get out much, and he really wasn't one to judge, anyway.
"I work at the Off Broadway Taproom most nights," he started. "Some during the day as well. Whenever they need me, really. I have a ward now, too. Ned Leeds. I just recently learned I had a ward. I'm not quite sure what had compelled the town to give me one."
