Hunk & Frank Castle
"If you're not sure whether you want to call your girl a friend or your girlfriend? You might want to take a second to consider how you feel about her. There's a point of no return when it comes to the difference between the two. When your lady shows back up? See her as soon as you can. The way you feel when you see her again? That's when you should know."
Frank could remember the moment he'd known his Maria would be his Maria for as long as he could hold onto her. It wasn't a feeling he'd been willing to give up. That was why he'd asked her to marry him a lot sooner than any of his friends thought was smart. He'd done a lot of things his friends hadn't agreed with when it came to his wife; Frank had never regretted any of them.
Taking a moment to sample the nachos, Frank wiped his hands on his napkin before saying, "I racked with some guys who sound like your roommate. Always up to something. Into something. Wanting to give advice about something. I learned to ignore them. Oh. And to drive them nuts by playing the guitar and doing what I called singing whenever I felt like it whether they thought they were going to get some lights out action or not."
Frank grinned as he went back to his snack and his soda. He forgot sometimes things hadn't all been bad for him while he'd served. The killing and death was stacked up too high for him to see over it in most of his memories, but there had been good days. There'd been good times. He really had served with some good men even if he himself wasn't sure if he'd ever been a good man.
