Who: Sombra and Chris Halliwell When: Friday Morning Where: Madison Valley Coffee and Tea Co. What: Coffee exchanges and match-up things! Warnings: Possibly language? Status: Closed/In-Progress/Match-Up!
Everyone who was anyone seemed to make up the long lines at Starbucks in the morning. Sombra had tried it, had her fill and decided quite early on that the local places were better. Coffee at home was, by far, the number one choice of enjoying a cup or two. Unfortunately, Sombra didn't have that luxury today. Not at that moment.
With a small handful of files and logs to upload and secure for WAMM, Sombra had every intention of starting early to finish before the afternoon. People certainly wouldn't call her lazy when it came to getting the job done.
Friendly enough at the counter, even humoring and offering a young patron some sound advice in their choice of coffee flavors, Sombra moved along to wait for her drink. The clump of individuals also waiting spoke volumes to what the preference seemed to be when it came to local versus a chain. Stepping forward to pick up her drink, her attention momentarily on her phone, she caught movement out of her peripheral. Looking up, Sombra grinned as she took a step toward the young man.
"If this wasn't my first cup of coffee, I'd be more inclined to share, chico. You don't take me as the double espresso extra hot sort."
