WHO Cassie Briar-Romanoff & Briar Moss WHAT Checking in on a friend WHEN Sunday night (backdated) WHERE Briar & Paige's house WARNINGS TBD, will update if needed STATUS Closed | Incomplete
It hadn't been hard to figure out that Briar wasn't taking the whole no longer being a clone thing well. She got it, was pissed to all hell that she hadn't been able to make sense of her visions in time, but she knew she could be there for him now. It wasn't going to be any big thing because that wasn't how they were. Knowing him, he was probably hands deep into his garden, so she decided to hell with it, she was just going to show up instead of waiting for him to ask her. Because he wasn't. She knew that.
Paige had let her in, directed her outside, and she'd spared a moment to ask about the twins and make sure that his guardian was okay. Then she was out the back door, her boots following the well worn path to his garden where he was tending to his plants. Cassie couldn't help but wonder if they were tied of the fussing like he'd said sometimes they could be on occasion. She got it, though. Clones were a nasty business as far as she was concerned.
"Hey," she greeted as she knelt down next to him. All she did was knock her shoulder against his before she pushed up her sleeves. "Whatcha working on?" It wasn't the first time she'd joined him in the garden and it definitely wouldn't be the last.
