Who: Elsa and Qrow Branwen
When: Saturday Evening [Backdated]
Where: Elsa's apartment
What: Breaking out of the pod prison and reuniting!
Warnings: Mild language, TBD
Status: Closed/In-Progress

Elsa hard little recollection on when it had happened. It had been so quick. Enough so that she barely had had a moment to react to it all.

It all felt similar to a dream. Not quite a nightmare, but close enough to leave uncomfortable thoughts in the back of her mind. Elsa believed she was asleep, but not quite. There was something off; a discomfort that was aching to push its way through. It was met with another force that pushed back and kept her lodged in the odd and unknown state.

For so long, there had been nothing but silence. She wanted to call out to someone, but it felt as if the sound itself was engulfed in the musty darkness.

The sound that finally came seemed so far away. Muffled and fuzzy. She tried to call out to it, wanting to be found, but nothing came. Maybe it was, indeed, a dream. A terrible, horrible dream that Elsa wanted out of more than anything.

Qrow hadn't really thought much when Elsa said she wasn't feeling well. He just figured it was some sort of flu bug going around, especially when others had been saying they were sick too. Even Fred and his brother had caught whatever was going around.

But then they suddenly got better and that was only the start. Elsa, Fred, everyone else seemed to be acting strange. They just seemed... detached, he supposed, like they were all there. Like they weren't themselves at all. It had gotten bad enough that Weiss had stayed with Qrow until they had figured out what was going on.

Once they read on the network what had happened, they immediately went off to find the pods and break out their loves ones. Weiss went back home to get Fred and Ron out, while Qrow flew straight to Elsa's. Unfortunately, he had to break her window to get into her apartment, but that was the least of his worries. He transformed back into a human and headed to her bedroom, where sure enough, he found the pod.

So to destroy the pod, he had to burn it. He had some Fire Dust bullets in the shotgun part of his weapon and shot a few rounds into it, trying not to accidentally hit Elsa inside, as flames burst on impact. He managed to burn it just enough so he could make a hole big enough to pull her out, moving her as far away from the pod as he could.

"Elsa? You alright?" he asked, cradling her in his arms as they sat on the floor.

Taking in a deep breath of fresh air with the hint of burning embers, Elsa rubbed at her bleary eyes. The light, though dim, took a moment to adjust to. She recognized Qrow's voice, though, almost immediately.

Opening her mouth to speak, Elsa coughed first. Her lungs were adjusting to taking normal breaths and her throat was slightly sore. She was exhausted and groggy and placed the majority of her weight against Qrow.

"I think so," she said, clearing her throat. Glancing back at the remnants of the pod, Elsa frowned. "What...is that? What's happened? Are you alright?" She gave him a quick once over before tucking herself against him. "I don't remember anything."

When Elsa was slowly starting to come around, he let out a sigh of relief. Now that she was relatively okay, he took aim and shot a few more Fire Dust bullets at the pod, destroying the rest of it.

"Hey, take it easy," Qrow said gently when she tried to talk but couldn't. He thought maybe he should get her some water since she had been in there for awhile, but she seemed fine enough to talk eventually. "I'm fine, don't worry about me," he waved dismissively.

"That? It was some sort of pod. It trapped you inside and made a clone of you that was walking around."

Elsa had turned away and shielded herself briefly as Qrow finished off the remainder of the pod. There was quite the mess to handle, but that would be for a different time to concern herself with.

Waving her own hand in an attempt to indicate that she was fine, Elsa made a face. "A clone? I can't imagine anything good came from that. Or me, I suppose." Though she had certainly read books pertaining to and watched movies and shows about clones, Elsa was relatively new to the entire concept. She never dreamed she'd ever have to handle them on such a personal level.

"Did she hurt anyone? Do anything terrible to the town?" She frowned and placed her hand against Qrow's cheek. "Did she hurt you?"
