Who: Lena Luthor & Dean Winchester When: Saturday, Aug 10 Where: Throughout Madison Valley (In the car!) What: Talking and things that are generally not done by a Winchester and, at times, a Luthor. Warnings: Probably. Just saying. Status: Closed/In-Progress
While juggling how Kara was doing with her turbulent and up-in-the-air relationship with Bucky, Lena was always working on Dean. She understood the difficulty of losing a sibling. Lena knew how that was all too well. As far as Lena knew, Sam hadn't tried to assassinate Dean. There were other difficulties and struggles, she knew, but they all had their own complications.
The car rides seemed to be doing something. Lena wouldn't call it good, but it certainly wasn't bad. It got them both out and away from everyone and everything. Something that would prove good in the long run. Getting out among others was healthy but Lena understood needing space away from crowds.
It was already understood that "date night" wasn't the same for them as it was for others. They weren't the cute couple who cuddled during the movies or shared meals at a fancy restaurant. Things that Lena was perfectly comfortable with.
Lena did; however, reach over to take Dean's hand in her own. She was persistent there unless he needed his hand for driving, shifting gears, and whatnot.
"I picked up wings for our evening feast this time." The cycle of food choices had come back around. There were other choices that Lena would have brought for herself, but Dean wasn't the sushi sort of person. Burgers, chicken wings, french fries, and things that you could pick up at Hinkles or the local pub worked just fine. Especially when chased with beer, liquor, pie, and donuts.
