She leaned against the kitchen counter, giving him a 'look' over the top of the photo. "Obviously you're terrible at reading them, you didn't even know you were having twins." Yes, Anakin, she was taking the effort to tease you. And it was impressive, if Leia said so herself. The last time she'd said anything resembling that sort of remark, it had been to snark at the man, knowing her death could come at any moment.
She handed him back the scan, unable to help the little bubble of excitement in her stomach. A new little sibling was exciting, even if the circumstances couldn't be more strange. "I just wish Luke were here to see. He'd be so excited." Maybe, if the Dome was very kind, her brother might just make his way here before their little brother or sister was born.
Jesse... Well, wasn't that a bit of a loaded subject? She could tell he was feeling out more information but she didn't really have much. It was more a hunch than anything. "He's a kind hearted man, don't get me wrong. I don't think he's involved in anything sinister." No, that wasn't Jesse. Not at all. Of her odd little group of friends, Jesse was the more gentle of them all. "He'll say things sometimes. He's traveled the world many times over, but he's younger than I am. And his mannerisms... They're not similar to anyone here, but he knows all the modern music and television and books."
It was definitely different. And again, she didn't think he was hiding anything terrifying or dangerous. But there was definitely something there that he didn't want seen.
