WHO Cassandra Railly & Agent Washington WHAT Checking on her office WHEN Sunday afternoon WHERE Combat Therapy WARNINGS TBD, possibly talk of PTSD STATUS Closed | Incomplete
When Shadow had suggested she check out her office and see how it was all set up, Cassie thought it might be a good opportunity for her to take Wash when it wasn't very busy. Frankly, it was likely they'd be the only two people there unless Shadow was still about. She just wanted to gauge how he'd react to it just by seeing it without any expectation to do anything more than look around. Easing into things was the best way to do it but she knew it was important that he start to be more physically active and to ease into a routine that was more in line with what he was familiar with. Plus, having a safe space was important and she thought Combat Therapy could be a little more personalized than Training Terrain.
She swung by his house to pick him up and they caught up a little bit on the drive over. Though Cassie wasn't even remotely close to being qualified to counsel anyone, she had been reading up on some of the Do's and Don't's - which she'd passed on to Wash's friends - and part of that was making sure he felt like she was someone he could talk to.
"So, like I said, this is pretty much just so I can check out the office and see how things are set up. I just thought you might appreciate a looksie before it's got people moving all around in it," Cassie said as she pulled into a parking spot in front of the building. "And I'm glad for the company." She smiled as she turned off the car and hopped out. Shadow had given her the access code and a set of keys so she led the way into the building without any issue.
"Office first, then the tour?" Cassie figured she could give him the opportunity to decline the tour later on if he wanted.
