Dealing with the wild and weird was nothing new for the speedster at all. Over the last six years Bart had faced all kinds of strange obstacles; everything from giant planets trying to crush the Earth, to super villains locking him up in a cell with an electrified floor that kept him running none stop for hours on end. Yet through it all he never faltered. Never doubted that things would turn out just fine. And that was because Bart knew his friends always had his back. Here though, trapped in a strange place and cut off from his team...and his own reality, the speedster was feeling less then sure.
Oh it helped, immensely, to learn that at least there was some version of the Justice League around in this town. Sure they weren't his teammates at all, but knowing that the place had heroes to watch out for the people. That really did help put him at ease a bit more.
Here and now; as he sat at the edge of the rooftop, feet dangling down the side of the tall building, Bart let out a soft little sigh. His gaze drifted across the landscape, taking in the sights of the small town, all while he dug another taco from the bag sitting beside him. Ollie had always joked that the kid had a black hole where his stomach should've been, and honestly even Bart couldn't really deny it. The speedster was just hungry pretty much all the time, and doubly so when his body was burning off calories at an alarming rate. Instead of fretting over it though he had made a quick pit stop at Taco Bell, and with a soft smile spreading across his lips the speedster dug into his sixth taco of the night as he looked out across the sleepy town below.
