Most of the packages Peter delivered under his unique delivery method were papers of some kind. It seemed almost as if someone wanted a signature from someone else all the time. He never really cared what he was delivering after realizing he was mostly going to be giving something to someone for a signature only to have them sign the thing he'd brought them in return. That seemed completely boring to him.
Big boxes shaped like the letter 'J'?
That was interesting.
Shooting from the FedEx depot in Microdome Computers to Midtown Motors, Peter held the package vertically so he wouldn't clip anyone or anything as he sped by them. (It hadn't happened to him in a long time -running into someone or something- but there was always the possibility of an accident.) He stopped in front of an open mechanic bay door. His hair fell into its usual disarray as he came to a complete stop and it caught up with him.
Pushing his goggles up, Peter called, "Delivery! FedEx Special Services!"
There was no way he was going to leave with only a signature on something this interesting. He wondered if it was a part for a fancy car or some kind of special thing to go on a custom motorcycle. Peter had never been on a motorcycle, but they looked a lot more fun than cars when he ran by them. He liked the idea of being outside of a vehicle so it would almost feel like running. Peter had never heard of any kind of land vehicle which moved as fast as he did so he knew to adjust his expectations. He still liked the idea of doing something the way non-mutants did.
Sometimes.
"Anyone home? I'm about to die from curiosity out here. No idea what's in this one except I really doubt it's divorce papers, a court summons, or a notification of paternity."
Why people wanted to tell someone they had a kid via FedEx was also lost on Peter, but it happened. Way more than he thought it should, too. He wondered sometimes if he should tell his own father about himself that way -a certified letter- but Peter wasn't nearly desperate enough to use that method.
