Ella & Haymitch
Ella was very grateful that he understood and she sat back a bit more, relaxing as much as she was able with her dress. It really did fit wonderfully given her pregnancy, still as comfortable now as it had been that night. She was so grateful to be able to make new memories in her dress and hopefully only happy ones.
"Oh, it's the least I could do! Especially for one as sweet as your daughter. She really is quite lovely," Ella complimented warmly. Stephanie was like any other child, had her ups and downs, but she was still a wonderfully well behaved little girl and Ella adored her. It was only proper that her birthday was filled with so much love and fun and happiness.
She did laugh at his comment on the party and then put her hand on his. "Oh, but you're faking it quite well, Mr Haymitch!" Ella was quick to assure him. "It is the duty of any good father to indulge in such things. I rather think any father here would understand quite well. As a daughter myself, I can promise that she will be grateful always to such things."
