"Yea, I know. I'm more worried about Riley," he admitted. He knew Briar wasn't a big fan of her - Dean wasn't either - but that didn't stop him from caring about any of them. He didn't need them to like Riley, much as he wanted them to. They supported him and didn't try to get in the way of his relationship, which mattered just as much.
"I'm sure Maya's happier back home though. I dunno about Dean's brother." Hunting monsters wasn't exactly a safe life, although from what little Lucas had been able to piece together, he figured Dean and Sam were invincible. They never got completely knocked down, just battered around a heck of a lot.
"But I am so never drowning my sorrows in anything but ice cream again. I'd rather have the stomach ache than this." Hangovers were terribly unpleasant.
