WHO Jane Foster, Ty Johnson & Baby Elizabet WHAT Family time WHEN Monday afternoon WHERE Their room, on the balcony WARNINGS TBD probably none STATUS Closed | Incomplete
Jane was, for once, grateful to the Dome for not sending them home just yet. Lizbet was sleeping so well on the cruise ship, no doubt due to the natural rocking motion, and it led to Jane feeling more rested overall. They'd also seemed to have gotten into a rhythm when it came to nursing, for which she was incredibly grateful. Any longer and she might've had to give up entirely. Objectively, she knew there wasn't anything wrong with bottle feeding, did sometimes still supplement with one, but she hadn't wanted to miss out on the bonding experience.
Ultimately, the cruise had sort of worked out really well in terms of helping her feel more connected to her daughter. She couldn't disappear into the labs, couldn't just hand Lizbet off to the day care because of how new she was, and although it meant not getting off the ship to see all the ports, that was okay, too. They got to walk around the decks some, enjoyed dinner a couple of times, but for the most part, Jane was happy to be in their room. The balcony especially because it was private. They'd rigged up a bit of a shade covering with some towels so that she and Lizbet could lay out there on the chaise without getting too overheated.
That was where they were again, Lizbet nursing for her afternoon snack, when she heard Ty come in. "We're out here," she called, though it was more than a little obvious.
