"Yes, it would," she agreed. "Tolerance is far different from acceptance." Cassie would have preferred to work in a similar capacity to her previous job but that was impossible given the restrictions on refugee employment opportunities. That they required a blood test for certain roles irked her on principle alone. It wasn't as if it was like a drug test.
"I suppose I am lucky to be an on call doctor," she replied. "There seemed to be a great many already working a the clinic so I chose to put my skills to use elsewhere." Cassie knew she was lucky in that regard.
"How would you consider the past year here? Fairly even or were there many ups and downs?" She was still trying to wrap her head around all that could be in Madison Valley.
