Riley & OTA
Riley felt like an actual princess in her dress. From the moment she'd put it on, she couldn't stop swishing back and forth, feeling her skirt floating around her legs. She'd fidgeted with it all through dinner, too, went right back to swishing afterwards after sending Lucas to get them both some cake and tea or something.
Except just swishing was never really Riley and she very quickly turned into just twirling, her skirt flaring out prettily, her long hair left down doing the same.
It was probably the best dress she'd ever worn and at one of the best parties she'd ever been to. Nothing horrible had happened all week long and she felt like she'd actually been able to be some help to Lucas, even if it was only to distract him from being sad. It wasn't a lot, but it was something, and she'd been able to see and explore a lot of really amazing and beautiful places with her friends.
Her parents would have liked to see them too, she knew, but she tried not to be sad about it.
