Zatanna and Evie
That was interesting. Evie couldn't quite place what it was that she was speaking, but the fact that two marshmallows headed their way again, perfectly toasted, was pretty great. She accepted the treat and popped it in her mouth as the black haired woman introduced herself. So this was the Zatanna that Constantine had told her about.
"So you're the mysterious Zatanna? It's a pleasure to put a face to the name. Constantine's told me about you." That should definitely get the woman's attention. It also made her want to be more honest about her answer as to why she wanted to earn whatever secrets she was willing to share.
"To be honest? Mother only ever encouraged a certain kind of...superficial magic and outside the Isle? Magic is frowned upon on a lot of levels. I want to know what I'm capable of. I know it isn't all for evil and ill and hurting people. Sure, it can be used to have some fun, like pulling a fake ID out of the mirror to be able to drink at the bar or stepping from my mirror to Constantine's so we can have some fun. It's all still a little superficial. I can do so much more if someone would just teach me." Evie didn't look as embarrassed as she felt for being so honest about her frustrations.
