Max Caulfield & Open
When she'd decided to venture to the bonfire, Max was mostly hoping to take a few candid shots of the other folks on the boat and that was all. Obviously, she ended up staying longer, finding a seat on one of the vacant chairs close to the flame and spearing a marshmallow on one of the available sticks. Leaning forward, she slipped the stick into the fire and watched as the outside started to crisp up.
It felt like forever since she'd done something so simple like camping and part of her wondered if that was something Chloe and her should do together even when they got back to Madison Valley. It might be fun to spend a night together under the stars. Or maybe Chloe was simply turning her into more of a nerdy, now corny romantic. In either case, Max found she didn't mind. Being with Chloe felt right. Like coming back to Arcadia Bay had felt right. She was a part of Max in a way that she never thought possible or maybe...she never allowed herself to think possible.
