Who: Shawn Hunter and Karen Page What: Awkward morning Where: their cabin When: Monday morning Warnings: tbd but unlikely Status: closed/in progress
For the past month, Shawn had been getting used to waking up alone. It sucked and he missed his wife every day, but the more time that passed, the more convinced he was that she wasn't coming back. He knew that he couldn't wait around forever for her to possibly return though he wasn't exactly in any hurry to put himself back into the dating scene. Especially since he wasn't sure when or if Maya would be ready for something like that. Right now, his daughter was his number one priority.
When he woke up with his arms around a smaller figure and his nose buried in someone's hair, he assumed that it was Liz. That assumption, that hope, was dashed when he opened his eyes and saw hair much lighter than it should have been.
He carefully untangled himself, having no clue who the woman was in his bed. Or rather, not his bed. This was not his house and, if he had to guess, wasn't even in Madison Valley. "Uh, sorry," he said awkwardly.
