“So she’s close to a Latina’s type skin color at least?” That was at least helpful in Brooke’s mind to give her a better idea on colors to offer up if he was wanting to do something nice for his girlfriend. “Based on that, you’re lucky because a lot of colors can work with her. The best ones though are burgundy or a dark reddish type, blues, purples, and even some pinks but not like hot pink. That never really looks good on anyone!”
He was lucky on that gave him plenty of options for him to pick without being all unsure. Brooke wasn’t going to be too evil on him by breaking down the different types of dark reds or anything like that. It’d only give the poor guy a headache even if she could talk about it all day without breaking a sweat.
“Yes, I think it’d look good and stand out more, especially with the skin color you just told me.” She told him with a nod, stepping back to look over the nail polish again. “This is more a tip, but you don’t need to take it. I don’t know if your girlfriend has it or not, but you should if you want go for,” her eyes scanned the rows before tapping on a bottle of clear polish, “this or something like it. If she puts it on over the color once dried it tends to keep it from chipping longer.”
