Every muscle on Nancy’s body felt like it was in pain from the impact of her meeting the ground. Thanks to the darkness exploding out of the kids as they brought forward the demon meant to end the world. At least the group, especially Ramiro, Elvis, and Keta were able to send the demon back to where it belonged. Unable to focus on everything around her, Nancy accepted the help from Paulina when she came over, needing the help to stand. The group was making a quick exit and as Nancy reached the stairs, her weight gave out causing her to stumble slightly.
Steadying herself, her eyes only closed for a moment, but when they opened she wasn’t in the same spot. Turning around even more confused than ever while also grabbing the nearest wall to catch herself as she realized the error of turning like that. No way was this Mexico City. Where was she? It was dark and even with all the red and end of the world look, she knew the time was during the day. Nancy didn’t even care how she was in the middle of some sidewalk or how she might come across like a homeless bum with her outfit, she rested her head for the moment against the wall, listening for any signs of….well anything she knew. Elvis and Keta would find her, they’d kill anyone who messed with not even caring the girl could take care of herself. If she was stuck somewhere, they’d find some way to bring her back. Elvis needed her to give him a hard time, he’d be lost without her comments about his age, and she couldn’t have that.
Nancy made no plans to move until after some welcoming crew showed up, understanding only about a tiny bit of what was said even with them translating. None of it made sense, and somehow she was in America. Whoever was behind this made her stick to her words when it came to Ramiro since things were getting even freakier only this wasn’t a demon. She sure as hell could smell some demons around here, but this didn’t seem like a demon thing or none she had dealt with. Plus she was doing her traveling; however, she was wanting England, for now, America would have to do. Turning down their offer for help, Nancy waited until she was alone again before finally standing.
The demon that had been inside her was gone but it left a lingering feeling like always and now she was starving. All she wanted were some chicken fajitas. Oh, how she’d kill for some of Elvis’ chicken fajitas right now! Staying near the wall, she used that to keep herself semi-stable as she started walking down one side of the street. Nancy was finally getting her stableness back, but it wasn’t completely perfect plus her hand had dried blood all over it, covered for the most part by the jacket sleeve and how the jacket was a bit bigger than her, making her able to hide her hands if she wanted. Leaving her headphones around her neck, she kept walking on the hunt for some food. Stopping in front of Starbucks, she put her hands against the window to peer into the darkness since the place seemed closed at this hour. While she never had Starbucks considering she didn’t often have the money to waste on the stuff, she was hoping for maybe a little help on locating something good to eat that might be open. Nancy knew how this could look with her looking into a dark place after hours, she didn’t really care at the moment on how it looked.
