Eddie couldn't stop but smile as he glanced back at Anne, waving as she waved once more. Turning back around, he got onto his bike and started it up. Taking off, he headed down the street he knew well by now before turning down the next street. It wasn't until he turned down another street that he suddenly realized that he was no longer where he was supposed to be. His eyes narrowed before widing as he looked around.
"What the hell did you do?"
The symbiote stirred within him, seemingly just realizing the cause of Eddie's distress.
Didn't do it, Eddie. Wish I did. Fucking sucks, I can't.
Eddie rolled his eyes as he turned down what looked like the main road. Finding the nearest space to park, he did so and hopped off his bike, taking off his helmet. Putting it on the bike, he took the keys and headed to the sidewalk, looking around for someone--anyone--who looked like they might have answers.
So many different kinds of people here, Eddie. Can we eat them?
"Don't you dare!" He whisper ordered the alien before continueing his search.
Pussy.
Eddie cringed. He really hated when Venom used words like that but that was the least of his worries right now. Pulling out his phone, he frowned to see it was not working. Screen was not even on and would not turn on. Well, that was great.
Suddenly, he was intercepted by a man in a suit, who spouted a whole lot of information at him, handing him a packet of papers and objects. Eddie blinked as he tried to take it all in.
"Did that guy just say we were pulled here by the town?"
I don't know. I was thinking about how delicious he looked and how hungry I am.
"Venom, chill. You'll eat as soon as I figure this out."
A quick look in the packet gave him an idea of what he had. A phone, some keys, what looked like a debit card, and maps.
"I guess we're not going anywhere for awhile. Let's find someone who can help."
He headed down the way the man had gone, glancing to see if he could find anyone or anything that looked like it could fill him in on what the hell was going on here.
