Who: Mazikeen and Constantine What: Getting that drink, sharing horror stories, the like. Where: The Wyrm When: Not long after her arrival Rating: TBD Status: Closed; Incomplete
As tempted as Maze was to see if Verdant could actually compete with Lux, she ultimately went against it and decided on a smaller bar: the Wyrm. It could have been because her drinking companion for the moment had brought it up at some point and she decided to tentatively trust his judgement...for now at least. After all, someone who had the balls to talk about even attempting to send Mazikeen packing back to hell was someone at least worth attempting to know. She could admire his guts even if this place and it's barrier wouldn't ever let him do more than threaten or contemplate it. Plus, who was she to turn down a few good horror stories that involved possible torture, murder, and mayhem?
Oh, she wanted to see Trixie too and yes Chloe and of course Lucifer. She did have to make sure he was alright. After all, who else would ever be capable of protecting his self-centered ass better than hell's most decorated torturer? First though, a few moments for a drink might bring her around better to being stuck in this place and take the edge off her recent arrival. She was mostly healed up from her fight, her emotions still somewhat a wreck considering what she'd put her friends through in those finals moments...and what she said about Trixie. The young girl seemed to have forgiven her for it, but Maze still felt bad about it because she hadn't meant it. She'd just been mad about her situation, frustrated, and pissed at Linda and Amenadial for their betrayal. Something she saw with more clarity now, especially after she almost lost Linda because of it.
Yes, a drink to clear her head and feel out a stranger that Lucifer was clearly familiar with. She settled onto one of the vacated stools and idly picked up the two-sided menu, flipping it around to see what was offered.
