"You are way too understanding" She commented with a shake of her head. If she'd been in his shoes and someone had just blurted out her secret like that after promising not to? She would be so angry and not forgive them for a while. She and Max differed in a lot of ways, which was nice because they balanced each other out. It was just one of the reasons why he was perfect for her, something she was just catching onto. Better late than never?
"That's why we tell no one and you keep up the rouse that you're like everyone else. You did it at home, you can do it here" She told him gently, leaning up to kiss his cheek in an encouraging way. She could understand why he was freaking out about being exposed that but if they played their cards right, that wouldn't happen. No one knew at home outside of their little group. With it being just the two of them, that would make it easier to keep it on the down low.
"In our apartment" She added on with a grin of her own, bumping his shoulders with hers in a playful way. She was excited about living with him. One would think it would make her feel uneasy with her commitment issues but no, she felt completely comfortable about the idea. After all, she was the one that suggested it. Max Evans was the exception to everything in her world. "I think that's it up there" She told him, pointing to what looks like ana apartment building up ahead.
