Who: Lisa and Leonard (Lenny) Snart What: Catching up sort of. Brother and sister times the Snart way. When: Saturday night Where: Lou's Rating: TBD Status: Closed; Incomplete
Lisa had already run into her brother at the strip club earlier in the week, but such a place was hardly the type of environment for a "proper" chat between family. Not that there was much "proper" about the Snart siblings. Their past spoke all too many volumes about that. However, a drink over a meal at Lisa's favorite bar in town was more relaxing than a strip club filled with the sounds of sex echoing off the walls. A better setting too. They could speak more freely without being overheard-hopefully anyway. Little towns were gossip pits, weren't they? Still, Lisa much preferred to a booth at Lou's than a intimate sort of family chat at the club.
While Lenny had offered her honesty (ironic for a thief even to his sister), she didn't think for a moment such an invitation extended here. In that case, intimate might not have been a good word choice. She had no idea what her brother had been up to since the club or the kind of trouble he'd ended up in. There were a lot of people that knew of Lenny from before. People like Rogue who actually had started to form a sort of relationship with her brother which was how Rogue and Lisa had become friends in the first place. She'd also heard things about him being with Sara Lance and maybe even her boyfriend at the time, Sam. Of course, she wasn't sure how much of that was true. In any case, people would be looking to reconnect so to speak and as to how they did that, well, Lisa was not all too sure she wanted to know in some of those particular cases. Even if Lenny didn't remember his time here, those kinds of relationships were hard to break.
Settled into a booth, Lisa idly sipped her water as she waited for her brother to show. Lenny was never late; he had impeccable timing almost a hundred percent of the time. That was because he'd learned, like her, that time was money and heists only worked out if every detail happened when it should happen. Otherwise, everything could go sour in an instant. She remembered him drilling that into her head when she was barely six years old because their father had drilled it into his. Their father. Lisa was suddenly struck with the desire for a drink, but she held off, waiting for Lenny to arrive before ordering anything besides water and looking over the sparse menu. Lou's was not known for it's food that was for sure. She looked towards the door, unable to help, but feel an old sense of childish eagerness wash over her. For the longest time, Lenny had been her world. Her best friend. At least, until they'd grown up and started to lead somewhat separate lives. He was always there for her though. Always there to save her, to protect her, to never let her fall.
