Rowan Fricks and Mary Campbell
Mary wasn't sure exactly why she was bothering to talk to a complete stranger about any of this. She knew well how to keep secrets and live with them, but somehow she felt compelled to at least share some of it with the young woman. Maybe it was because she'd almost collided with her. Though, she didn't know if that was the case at all.
"I appreciate that, but I'm afraid what I did deserved a lot of judgement," Mary replied softly with a brief weak smile. "Anyway, my family was killed by a demon back in my time and that said demon killed the man I loved too. I made a deal to bring him back, but there were consequences. Consequences that affected everyone else in my family in the future," Mary explained it as brief as possible, knowing she'd said enough to already make it pretty clear how horrible it was.
