It wasn't often that the normally energetic Tuck found himself bored, yet being stuck in school just held no real amusement for him. Oh Jesse understood that he looked like a teenager for the most part. Heck he had been 17 for over two and a half centuries now. Still having to go through schooling, again, just had the 'young man' counting the hours until the final bell of the day rang. Sure ditching was an option, yet he had already promised his guardian that he'd attend...and going back on his word to Honest Abe Lincoln just wasn't something he could. So for the moment he was stuck here. At least until they could make arrangements for Tuck to test out of the classes. However until then Jesse found himself stifling yawns, and doing his best to stay awake during class time.
Honestly it wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't already learned what was being taught. At least gym and his art class were sort of fun. Yet as he sat there in the back of the Biology class the new student couldn't help but drift off slightly while he stared out the window and day dreamed about running through the woods. When the day dream shifted, and Jesse found himself scaling a familiar mountain top, Tuck nearly fell out of his chair as the end of the class bell rang out so loudly. It took a second to shake loose the cobwebs, but when he realized that the other students had already left the room the young man flashed his teacher a sheepish grin before standing up; and as Jesse hastily started to shove his textbook and notebook into his backpack the kid offered up an apology.
