Adam & OTA
Adam could feel it as soon as he and Katie had set foot on the settlement, the power rolling across the fields. It made him shiver, reminded him of the way he'd felt as Michael had taken him over, reminded him of how he'd felt when Michael had been the one in charge. He didn't know what Sigrun had done, but the gods had given them a good nod tonight.
"It's okay, daddy," Katie said, looking at him. "The land's happy now." She looked around for anyone she knew. "Can I go find people?"
He knew that nobody would hurt her, that they were more likely to get hurt by her. "Go on," he said. "You know what to do if you have to."
He sighed and went to get some mead because hey, why not drink?
