Lorna looked doubtful at him. Did she have idiot written on her forehead? Cause part of her was really wondering right now if he was going to throw out that line. Then again maybe the guy thought he was smooth or something like that? “And if I got sent home, then you’d keep it all safe until I returned, right?”
She had her long list of trouble making scenes, but usually, her scenes were for a reason or just she was really pissed off. If she hadn’t made Jace look like a complete fool on her escaping from jail, he’d probably still hunt her down, but he probably wouldn’t have had her face all over to draw attention to her little break out with her friends. Guy had a hardon for her species. Only her daughter was softening her, which Lorna was still debating if that was a good thing or not.
With her wallet out, she focused her powers on the wallet, bringing it back into her hand before sliding it away out of sight. Making the green energy around her hands vanish as she moved back over to her daughter. “Please if you stealing skills are as good as I just saw then I probably should give it,” part of it was a joke, but they weren’t bad; however, between her own stealing then what her boyfriend had told her...or ex it wasn’t like she was an easy target. “I’d rather not have people googling me since I’d rather not know what comes out. So fine, it’s Lorna Dane. Unlike your thief, grifter, killer, and time-traveling titles, mine really come down to who you ask.” It was the truth everyone had different labels for her, which most didn’t really matter to her. The only one that really pissed her off was crazy because she was tired of being called that.
