Loath as he might have been to admit such a thing aloud; William the Bloody was a fan of Walmart. Oh when it came to shopping for certain fresh ingredients for specific dishes he'd make for the girls, then the bleach blonde vamp was all for picking up things from the farmer market. Yet when it came to bulk shopping for everything from detergent to condiments, and low fat yogurt cartons too...well there really was no better place around. During his shifts as bouncer at the strip club Spike would sort through the coupons he'd cut out of the paper, only to actually have a spot of fun seeing just how much he could save for his family.
Granted back before his soulful days the vamp was all for simply taking whatever he wanted. However those days had come and gone, replaced by a mostly responsible man who was doing his best to provide and look after his family. Tonight's haul had been a good one to be sure. Between the clipped coupons, and the weekly deals, Spike rolled away with a stuffed cart and his wallet was barely any lighter then when he had gone in. Most of the goodies would go to the meals he made for Buffy and Dawn, since he did his best to send em off to work with a tasty and healthy meal. Yet beyond those food stuff was a few cases of beer, a fresh carton of smokes...since cancer was something the vampire would never need to worry about, and even a carton of cookie dough ice cream.
By the time he reached the parking lot William was already grinning as he ran down the mental check list of things he had gotten. Pausing only for a moment to light up a cigarette when the sound of someone calling out to him was heard. That piercing blue eyed gaze lazily drifted over to the source of the voice; yet when the blonde didn't recognize the stranger Spike sniffed the air. It took a second to register the scent, but at last a soft sigh fell from Spike's lips before he finally spoke up. "If you're looking for a tussle, wolf boy, I'd normally oblige. But I want to get this shite home and put away before it goes bad. Maybe another night, yeah?"
