Who: Lowell Tracey & Rogue When: Thursday Evening Where: Downtown What: Out for a stroll at night. Rating/Warnings: TBD Status: Incomplete and Closed
He wasn't brooding. Not that Lowell couldn't brood with the best of them when the mood arose, but tonight as the zombie boy strolled the nearly empty streets he merely grew lost in thought. Stirred from his silent reverie only when the Brit took the corner and found himself quite literally tumbling into someone else. Earnestly before that little collision things had been going so well; Tracey had been mentally reviewing the lesson plan for his class he'd teach tomorrow, while humming a little jaunty tune that had gotten stuck in the back of his head. However the moment he bumped into the woman sheer unadulterated panic set in. For months now Lowell had gone to great lengths to avoid physical contact with others, out of concern for their well being. After all, when it only took a scratch to infect others with the zombie virus, well caution was the name of the game.
So he had become a cautious man; cutting his nails short to an obsessive degree, avoiding getting close to others, and even doing most of his shopping or errands at night when most others had long since gone to bed. Here and now though all that seemed to have been in vain, since Lowell found himself torn between leaping away or drawing closer to see if he had accidentally scratched the woman. With a pale cool hand resting on her arm, those eyes lingered on her flesh for a moment, not spotting any sign that he had inadvertently drawn blood. With an audible sigh of relief the Brit finally took a half step back, quickly uttering an apology...only to stutter mid sentence as his gaze was drawn to the white streak in her hair. "I uh, I apologize for being so clumsy. I really should be more cautious while I'm out and about." Even as he spoke that hand of his lingered on her bare forearm, feeling warmth that didn't match with a fellow zombie. At last Lowell's hand pulled away, and he shook his head a tad, the man just stepped to the side and offered a half bow.
