Who: Lisa Snart & Open What: Having a drink at Lou's When: Friday night Where: Lou's bar Rating: TBD Status: Open; Incomplete
It was a rare Friday night off for Lisa and sadly? She was spending it alone at Lou's, drinking a decent martini, and wishing suddenly that she was back in Central City. There was something about a city that Madison Valley could not compete with. The action, the promise of so many futures, and the danger. Yes, the danger. Lisa missed the sense of danger and fear that came with the unpredictable atmosphere of the city. Madison Valley was wonderful in many ways, but there was a part of her that missed what the city had to offer. Not like she could do anything about it. She was trapped in Madison Valley like all refugees until Madison Valley sent her back.
Lisa reached for her martini glass and took a sip. It was decent and she couldn't complain. The drinks were better at Verdant, but Lou's was cheaper and being that she was no longer thieving full time, she couldn't afford to drink top shelf every night like in Central City. It definitely sucked, but being trapped here made it impossible for her to pull off any sort of big job without the possibility of getting caught and landing in jail...permanently. Especially since her brother was not here to bail her ass out of anything. That part sucked too. Lisa pushed aside her martini and raised a hand to signal over the bartender. "I'll take a top shelf bourbon," she requested, watching as the bartender put a glass on the counter, tipped in some ice, and filled the glass to the brim...almost. Nodding, Lisa took a sip. Sometimes a night called for something stronger.
