Buffy Summers & Spike
Every fiber of his being screamed to act when Spike caught sight of the creepy woman as she stepped onto the elevator. If the vamp still had working circulation those knuckles of his would've been white as he gripped the handle of his battle axe tightly. Still instead of lashing out, or doing more than stepping to keep himself between the stranger and his wife, William found himself merely frowning...even as he nodded ever so slightly at her whispered words.
Nothing felt right about the present situation, and normally the bleached blonde would've been the first to offer up some manner of snarky retort when being told what to do. Yet when it came to Buffy he had complete faith in her; to the point where he would've leaped into hell itself if she had given the word. Not speaking to some weirdo was far from a challenge, since there was nothing to say to the strange lady at all. Instead Spike merely stood vigilant and ready to strike, or to use himself as a shield if the creeper made any move to attack his wife.
