Hiccup had been aware of Lorna's delivery and that Erik was assisting because of her powers, but that didn't make it any easier when the power went out and his cell phone went inactive essentially. To him, that meant something had happened to Erik, which made him worry quite a bit more than he'd been worrying already. It didn't take very long for him to decide to go check on the older man, so he flew over and was even more worried to see Erik stumbling towards the wall at the edge of the garden. He hurried to land in the backyard and nearly fell as he scrambled off Toothless' back.
"Erik?" he called as he ran towards the front. Hiccup came skittering to a stop and knelt down in front of his friend. The cell phone was all but useless, still trying to send a message. Hiccup just took it and turned it off before he slipped it into his pocket. Leaving it outside wouldn't do any good.
"Erik? Hey, it's me. It's Hiccup. Are you okay?" He was definitely not okay. "What can I do?"
