Derek nodded. "Yeah, can't complain," he said. "Things have been going really well." He was almost hesitant to say that, given the whims of the dome and the crap that it liked to throw at them with no provocation.

This was probably the worst place to try and have a private conversation since so many of the attendees had super hearing, but it didn't stop Derek from moving a little closer to Dwight and lowering his voice. Hopefully the fact that there was so much going on would keep anyone from overhearing.

"I'm actually thinking about proposing," he said.
