WHO York & Nyssa WHAT Curiosity gets the better of York for once WHEN Tues March 12 (backdated) WHERE MCU Brooklyn 1936 WARNINGS TBD, will update if needed STATUS Closed | Incomplete
York was curious about this portal to New York City. It was even further in the past so he was well prepared for the technology to not be the same. He'd left his armor at home and had opted for a Glock as his weapon. Delta was running all sorts of diagnostics, providing that information to York in the back of his mind. He wasn't expecting there to be any trouble, but that didn't mean he didn't have his guard up. People were giving him looks because of his missing eye. And your clothes. They are a close approximation, but I think some see that there is something off about them, Delta chimed in.
"I'll stop and get proper attire for C and myself later," he muttered under his breath. Though York didn't need to speak out loud for Delta to understand him, he liked doing it that way. Even if sometimes it made him look like he was talking to himself. He continued on his way, moving where the crowd took him. They'd marked where the portal was located, so it would be relatively easy to work his way back there. He must've been wandering around for an hour before someone caught his attention.
Nyssa al Ghul, from Madison, Delta supplied. Well, at least he knew her name. York wasn't sure what she was up to so he fell back a bit and kept an eye on her. Tailing a suspect was something he was reasonably good at, but not so good that she wouldn't notice him rather quickly. He smiled sheepishly when he realized he'd been made.
"You looked like you were casing the place," he said by way of greeting.
