Lowell Tracey & Charlie Emily
Nothing about her answer offered much in the way of comfort; and as Charlie explained the situation the Brit's frown deepened too. It was bad enough being trapped in a place and time not his own. Yet to hear that the town, or possibly some unseen entity, screwed with the residences here just made matters worse. "That is...unfortunate. I can't say I'm looking forward to having a sentient dome mess with me, as if I'm just a rat in a cage."
The fact that the locals weren't fans of those pulled in by the Dome was even more alarming. After all Lowell just wanted to stay off the radar, but apparently even that was going to be so much harder thanks to the blood tests and bias against all those who arrived. "I can't fault them for being wary, still...I fail to see how they could be so opposed to our presence here when we had no control over our arrival to begin with. Has there been many conflicts between folks like us and the local population?"
