Lowell Tracey & Charlie Emily
"Me? Oh gosh. Since July?" Charlie paused briefly, her face scrunched up in her moment of thought. There was that strange fuzzy feeling just behind her eyes and Charlie opened them to let her vision focus.
"Mid-July, give or take. Kind of feel like it's been longer, but a lot of crazy things have happened." Hesitating, Charlie wasn't sure how much Lowell had heard when he had arrived. If he had arrived just yesterday, it was possible he got himself bombarded with everything and anything. Then again, they did have a few individuals who would have played the vague "wait and see" card.
"I wouldn't say you lose track of time, but it's like you blink and you've been here for seven-going-on-eight months." It was seven or eight months away from the horrors of home, though. That was a good thing. "Jobs are pretty easy to come by, too. Shoot for the places that don't ask for blood work," Charlie scoffed and rolled her eyes.
