"Me? No. I don't sing. Not well anyway. Happy Birthday is my limit." Charlie chuckled and waved her hands. It was nice to have something resembling a normal conversation. A chat that didn't include whatever internal problems were happening to her system. Those were important topics to discuss and Charlie had gone to Carolina and Church about them herself.
Still, it was refreshing to get her mind off of that worry. She hadn't zoned out or repeated any questions yet, so that was an excellent sign.
Maybe it was just a form of exhaustion and overuse.
"Given the shops that have been here and ones that the arrivals have established, I bet you'd be able to find a new collection. At least a few to start it." Which meant he was new. That was good. It gave her a feeling of ease when people arrived after others left.
"I'm Charlie, by the way. This must be your first big outing in Madison, huh?"
