"A vibe? I suppose that's a bit better than walking around with a name tag or something that just practically screams 'new person'." Truth be told, Tracey wasn't sure which was stranger. Being out of his time, or being stuck in a dome. However at the very least the handful of people he had met up until now had all been rather decent. "If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been here? Or were you born in this place?"
There was no denying that it was a lot to take in; the fact that the young man spoke as if the town itself somehow made the decisions about when folks came and went was disconcerting. Still when the kid mentioned that it wasn't so bad here, Lowell found himself just gazing about for a moment more before finally offering up a slight shrug. The thought that this place could be better than Seattle earnestly hadn't crossed his mind though.
After all, at least back home he had his friends, music, a steady supply of brains, and there had even been a woman too. Granted that last bit ended before it every really began. Mostly because Lowell had...well not rushed things really, yet things between himself and Liv hadn't ended well either. The only saving grace had been the simple fact that they really hadn't been anything to begin with. Just two zombies trying to connect. "I am not sure if it will be better than back home. However I guess I will find out soon enough."
