WHO: Kenny McCormick & Llewellyn Cornick.
WHAT: Getting stitched up.
WHEN: Sunday.
WHERE: The Clinic.
WARNINGS: Blood, injuries, etc.
STATUS: Closed/Completed Gdoc.
Kenny loved snow and the cold. He really did. It reminded him of home, where it snowed almost all year round with it all melting once in awhile. He had a fun time playing in snow during his childhood and was pretty much used to it. Ice, though? Not a big fan. It was slippery and coupled with his shitty luck, he tended to get injuries a lot.
Just like today. He'd been walking in town and ended up slipping on some ice. Worse was he broke a glass door and ended up getting several cuts and gashes. Some were deep, some were shallow. Either way, he wasn't going to die so that meant he had to actually get stitches.
Sighing, he made his way to the clinic, ignoring any looks he may have gotten from being covered in blood. He walked in, seeing someone a bit familiar. "Hey, Llew," he greeted her. He'd spoken to her a few times before but he hadn't really done so in awhile. "So uh, need some stitching up," he told her, holding up his arm that had a pretty deep cut. If he looked close enough, he could probably see the bone. He also had a few other deep cuts too like on his throat and probably on the back of his head, but he couldn't really tell how bad they were.

Llew looked up as Kenny walked in, then sighed, “what did you do this time?” She got to her feet, grinning a little, as she grabbed her coat and threw it on over her shoulders.
She held the door open and pointed him towards a room. She gathered the supplies and started setting up even as he sat down. She was unphased, she'd treated him a few times and was used to him coming in looking like a walking poster child for injuries.
**
"Slipped on ice and fell through a glass door," Kenny replied with a shrug before he headed to the room she pointed to. He'd been here plenty of times before. He didn't always die when he hurt himself and sometimes he had to actually get fixed up. He was pretty much used to this by now and even before then back home.
He took his jacket off real quick before sitting down on the table. "So how have you been?" he asked. "Enjoy the crazy bullshit weather we had the other week?"
***
She didn't even miss a step, just slipped on gloves and grabbed the gauze to clean him up beforr she'd stitch him up.
“Mmm took me only half a day to pull enough shark teeth out of people to fill up a big bowl. It was great.” She laughed a bit, “I love this town sometimes.”
***
Kenny grinned, barely paying attention to her cleaning up his wounds. Sure, it did sting like it usually did, but at this point in his life, he barely noticed that sort of thing.
"Really? And I thought I was the only one who'd gotten bit by a shark." That kind of surprised him a little, but he shrugged it off. If people wanted to mess with sharks, then they could go out and get bit. He didn't care.
"Same," he grinned. "We had a baby shark in our pool. It was kind of cute."
***
“You've observed half this town, right?” She teased, “they all are itching for a fight so it was open season. Which meant half of them stopped paying attention and got snacked on.” She smirked a little.
“You did? That is pretty cool. I'm almost sad things didn't stick around after. Not that we needed sharks but you know. Something new.” She worked quickly and deftly, stitching all his cuts bask together.

"I mean, I don't blame them. Shit does get boring around here. Guess I always thought they'd be more careful," Kenny shrugged. He never really had to be. Since he'd just come back if he died, he could be as reckless as he wanted. Though everyone once in awhile, he tried to be a bit more cautious. But that was kind of boring.
"Yep," he nodded. "Kinda wished I could've kept him but I'm not sure my roommates would like having a shark in the pool." And he already had a couple pets, but still. Having a pet shark would've been awesome. "Is the back of my head okay? I can't really see how deep the cut is," he said. He hadn't checked it but he didn't need to. He just knew it was bleeding but he couldn't see how bad it was.
***
Llew laughed, “Yeah, well, people.” she shrugged a little. “Most are careful but sometimes they just need to let go. It’s hard for many to be trapped when you’re used to fighting for everything.” she knew she had trouble.
“That would have been an interesting pet, for sure.” she finished off and moved to check the back of his head. She cleaned the cut and shook her head. “No, it’s not too bad, it’ll heal up pretty quick. Head wounds just bleed a ton.”
***
"Yeah, I suppose you're right." It did tend to get a little boring here. Kenny himself got restless often and he had to try and create his own fun. Whether that was sex or drugs or something else, he always managed to find something to occupy his mind and stave off the boredom he felt every other day.
"Better than boring cats and dogs," he grinned. Not really, he liked his cat and he liked dogs too. But having a pet shark? That would've been so fucking cool. "Okay, good." He was glad the injury on his head wasn't too bad. It definitely felt bad but now he knew why. "You'd think I'd remember that, but nope. I either forget or I just didn't pay attention."
***
“It is what it is.” she said easily as she finished cleaning his wounds up, making sure nothing was missed or looking worse than she’d expected, a nod and she shot her gloves into the bin, stretching a little as she started cleaning up the area.
“Eh. It’s really not that big of a thing to remember. You do enough to yourself that it’s pretty minor in the things you tend to remember.” she saigh with a shrug as she looked over her shoulder at him.
“Anything else today, Kenny or do I get to see how long until I see you again?” she teased
***
"True, I guess. At least I know the difference between a sprained ankle and a broken one." Broken ones hurted. A lot more. Yet he was still able to walk, but he did have a higher pain tolerance than most people. Pain was pretty much a big part of his life and he was used to it by now.
He put his jacket back on before answering. "Sex," he joked, even though he kept a straight face. "Nah, I think I'm good. And as much as I like seeing you, I kind of hope I don't for the rest of the day. At least, not at the clinic." Outside the clinic, sure. But he didn't want to get injured enough again that he had to come back here.
***
Llew laughed, “I’m not your type and you know it.” she teased, though she noted he really didn’t have a type. She winked as she tossed the last of the trash into the bin. “I’m sure you’ll find comfort later.” she liked Kenny, he was never boring. But she also tried to skip sleeping with people she treated on a regular basis.
Which was a lot harder to deal with here.
“I do hope you’ll try to be a little careful for a few hours at least until I’m off shift then.”
***
"Yeah, yeah," Kenny shrugged with a grin. He was aware and while he saw no problem sleeping with his doctor or whatever, he knew she was trying to be professional about that. He just liked messing with her sometimes. And she was right, he could always find someone else later. He usually did.
"A few hours? That's way too long," he pretended to be shocked but he broke into another smile. "Alright, I'll try and stay out of trouble until then. Later, Llew."
